Swine Patrol

Joe Squiggly's fondest wish is to be an officer on the K-9 squad. The problem is he's a goof-up and has the bite marks to prove it. Bobby Jeffries, a nine-year-old tomboy, screams, "Don't take my pigs!" Her mother, Amanda, had to find a place for them when she lost their Nebraska farm. She ships the potbellied pigs - Delores (sweet and petite), Elvis (suave with a pompadour), and Tiny (a porker) to the LAPD to train as drug sniffers. Bobby runs away to Los Angeles. Discovering her daughter is missing, Amanda follows. The pigs are separated and only Delores arrives at the LAPD. Squiggly finds himself training a pig. The snobby K-9 trainees and their dogs laugh themselves silly. Readers will also, not at the pigs but with them, in this fun-filled adventure with surprises, danger, and plenty of heart. The hunt is on as Squiggly helps Bobby reunite with her BFF's and capture crooks using Pig Power!
