If, in her slough of despair, Nina had known a move to the Far North to help in a Victorian sweet shop would drop her into the quagmire of village politics, she may not have gone. But she didn't know. And she did go. It was once a thriving community by the sea but the Mayor has set out to diminish the township, all because of a personal grievance against Miss Clapham, confectioner. Bryn & Maudie may be good at making coffee and selling potting mix, but they're not much help with thwarting the Mayor.
