When Sarah first sees the rings of Tarasin swim into view outside her window after a long journey through deep space, she's both excited and relieved—finally, all her dreams are coming to fruition!

But when she crash-lands on the planet and finds herself captured by its militant beings, the Wayes'kai, all her hopes of peacefully carrying out her science experiments are dashed.
