Sweet and Faraway

Lesley had come all the way from England for the wedding of her beautiful but spoiled cousin Alice. With Alice safely off on her honeymoon, there was nothing, really, to keep Lesley at Coolaroo…but somehow delays kept coming up, and the time to leave never quite seemed to come. And she had to admit a growing fondness for Dan Baxter, mast of the vast estate.

But it was a shock to find that Dan had no intention of letting her go—that she was practically a prisoner in the remote Outback country of Australia!
