Survival from Darkness

Survival from Darkness is one of the most unusual stories to emerge from the annals of WWII. This is a story of five men who, upon taking leave in Australia, find themselves helplessly lost in the New Guinea jungle, and their experience there is one of deep horror, pain, and fear. Readers follow these five navy sailors through the depths of a nightmare, as the characters are held captive by the dark, foreboding abyss of the jungle. The men who lived this fought death daily, for months.
