A posting in Mexico with a medical aid organization is going to be an adventure for Nurse Rachel Hart. Then, when she meets Worlds Together's courageous founder and surgeon Shiloh Smith, her heart really starts to pound.

Shiloh is equally struck, and the intensity of dealing with the aftermath of an earthquake throws them together.

However, Shiloh is a widower and doesn't believe that special love comes more than once for anyone. It's a feeling that's reinforced by the arrival of Rachel's ex-fiancé. But Rachel knows where her feelings lie -- if only she can convince Shiloh that lightning really can strike twice.
