Surfing the Dawn

Over the course of his very long existence, vampire Raven has shed blood and taken it. Life has gotten dull, until the only excitement he can find is in racing the deadly sunrise, fearing it, and hoping at the same time that he might someday lose the race.

He was a Roman once, proud and strong, and shared the love of Valerian, a fellow gladiator. He thought their love would last a lifetime, until the night they were brought low, not by the bite of iron in the arena, but by the bite of a woman.

That night changed everything, and Raven spent the next fifteen hundred years trying to forget. When an antique ring arrives for him, he's plunged back into the very memories he's been trying to outrun. From ancient Rome and the gladiator games, to the crashing waves of modern day Malibu, Raven's past is about to take a bite out of his heart.
