Men are so wain, thought Sally Thompson. All she had proven was that she was a little better than Robert Haley at water skiing. That certainly was no reason for him to avoid her so. Sally resolved to forget about Robert and his silly male ego. After all, she was in Marjorca to enjoy herself.

But she was surprised to find herself haunted by thoughts of the dynamic hotel owner...and shocked when she finally realized that although she had won their little contest, Robert had won a far greater victory...the victory of love.
