About This Book

It's 1966, November, and Steve's just gotten a one month reprieve from the front lines of Viet Nam, through his father, an ex-Colonel from World War II. When Steve's girlfriend invites him on a month long cruise out of Tokyo, with two other couples, aboard a small sailing yacht, he accepts. Their vacation soon takes a change, when they are attacked by modern day pirates in the open sea, South of Guam. With their boat taking on water, they land on one of several uncharted islands. The following day, they begin repairs on their boat when they discover their second problem. There's a World War II Japanese soldier, long forgotten, and still at war. In what can only be described as an exciting South Pacific adventure we haven't seen before, Steve must do battle with the soldier, save the other's who've been taken captive, and repair their boat, before 2500 headhunters arrive. Pursued a second time by the evil pirates, in a boat that once again begins taking on water, it comes to a dramatic ending on the high seas of the South Pacific, in Sunrise Island.
