Louise takes a job as art counselor at a summer camp and finds that the job involves more than teaching art to kids when a handsome counselor dares her to shoot the rapids with him.

But Louise had never been to camp before, and even worse, she knew nothing about canoeing, the biggest sport at River Bright. When Pete Lowe, the waterfront counselor, asked her to help supervise a canoe trip down the rapids, Louise was wary.
