Well, this story wraps around one that lasted a very long time. The feud between Samuel Conners and Will Smithton had lasted over twenty-five years starting back to their high school days. It just seemed to grow as time went by much like that old story about the 'Hatfields and McCoys.' None of the family members could tell you how it started.
