There was nothing like having a barbecue with friends in the middle of summer. Sharing succulent food, excellent conversation and frosty alcoholic beverages was the perfect weekend event. Jade and Steve Sheffield loved opening up their home, inviting friends and family over for a festive good time. Their relationship strained, they masked their difficulties, choosing to hide behind a persona of perfection. Making the prudent decision to move into a domestic discipline lifestyle, the change seemed to ease their tension – until one heated barbecue event.
