Strings of Peril

While Leuco works determinedly in the Burning Lands to prepare for coming trouble, Thane and his friends seek out allies in the city of Rerecros. There they find the help they seek to bring Cruin to heel, but they also find just as much trouble. Thane, Pacrion, the half-snake Raynara, and the shadowless Akkarn are soon finding themselves set upon different paths with different tasks ahead of them - different Strings of Peril to survive. These paths will test them all to the limit, and soon Leuco too is wound up in more trouble. New enemies abound. Everything hangs in the balance, with events swirling out of control and Cruin calling the shots.
