The influence of the Bergkonge is growing stronger.
Eva Axeldatter and Beatrix Anderdatter have a long journey ahead of them. Accompanied by Þiagn the elf and Ragnfrith the Berserker, they must lead their small band to the islands of Lolland to search for signs of the Bergkonge. They have not had word from the other groups of their friends and family that are searching the rest of the Danelands, and do not know what awaits them on the wild islands.
Stuck between worlds, the dwarves, elves and Disir must find a way to escape back to Midgard with their news of the dark elves joining with the Bergkonge.
Dalla Ingeborgsdotter is still trying to understand the dark knowledge that the serpent bracelet allowed her to gain, but what price will she have to pay for this knowledge?
