A man by the name of Richard Heights passes through the gates and speaks of helping those in Black Haven, saving them from themselves, their nightmares. He takes up a job as a psychiatrist, which baffles the town. Richard is introduced to many troubled souls he tries desperately to save; in return they help rescue him from a sinful past. Richard meets numerous people in town who favor and despise his presence. But in the enda]can he really save them?
