Alexi Jordan had come to the old Florida estate to heal the wounds left by a bad marriage--and run straight into trouble. She didn't mind the fact that the mansion was supposedly haunted. What she did mind was her neighbor, Rex Morrow.

For some reason Rex had appointed himself her protector. True, some pretty strange things were happening, but Alexi was sure she could take care of herself. And even if she couldn't, her heart told her she was in greater danger when Rex was around than when he wasn't.
