Millie and her handsome fiancé Ben Castle are finally achieving a long-sought goal: to reach the ancestral home of his mother's people, Rookwood Manor.The Lord of the Catacombs, however, has other plans than for them to have a restful vacation. He entrusts Millie to find the Ealden, an ancient creature nestled in the Werewald, a land inhabited by fierce werewolves. The mysterious figure will show her the way to unlocking the secrets of the Prima Staff, and her own magic.Unfortunately, even their problems have problems, as some shadowy thing has arisen in the Werewald. The unknown trouble threatens to disturb the shaky truce between the superstitious locals and the forest-dwelling werewolves. Things are made worse when a stranger arrives at the nearby inn with a troublesome, and familiar, entourage in tow.All of this adds up to a hair-raising adventure for the betrothed as they fight against werewolves and dark wizardry to master not only their fate but to save the future of the kingdom.
