Storm and Fire

Just who, Emma Kendrick wants to know, does Joel Rivers think he is? First he punches out her nephew's football coach, then he sends Emma's sister into a flabbergasted rage by telling her she doesn't know how to raise her son! As if that's not bad enough, now he has Emma on her way to some obscure island to get her nephew from football camp, and his care. And, oh boy, does Emma have a thing or two to tell Mr. Rivers when she gets there!

But could this gorgeous, green-eyed, sensitive and loving father be the same obstinate brute on the phone? Emma decides to stick around the Chesapeake for a while to find out -- and falls in love with him. Though Joel knows what he feels for Emma, he's already lost his mother and a wife and is terrified of opening his heart again.
