A dancer's best friend sets her up on a date with a guy she's been avoiding. Someone spikes the punch at a small church fellowship. A man reflects on a moment in his life. An elderly gentleman waits on a woman he always meets for breakfast. A man deals with a breakup by walking nowhere in particular. A sniper waits for his target.These stories are not connected by any particular theme, at least not intentionally, but they were all written relatively close in time to one another, so I wouldn't be surprised to find they had some things in common. -Caleb Bedford
