Stitching Solace

     Helena Simpson was a shy, demure woman who found solace in the gentle art of sewing children's clothing. From her modest shop back East, she would meticulously craft each garment with loving care, letting her deft fingers do the talking her timid nature could not. Yet, as the years drifted by, an aching loneliness crept into her heart – the desire for a family of her own lingered, unfulfilled.     With no husband in sight, Helena made the daring decision to entrust her romantic fate to a marriage broker.
