Stitches and the Troublesome Stitch

A tale of a scarecrow that has a stitch of thread across his mouth that causes him to mumble. He embarks on a journey to remove the stitch. Along the way he meets three unique characters that attempt to assist him in his quest. In humorous fashion all three fail in their attempts to remove the stitch. Each character instead however teaches Stitches an important life lesson. It's a positive story full humour and ultimately designed to inspire hope and self-confidence. The book attempts to deal with the theme of communication difficulty. This affects a huge number of young people throughout the world. The book attempts to do this in a subtle manner and with an optimistic, feel-good story.
