Steven's Story

This is the story of a young man in the 1800's who wishes nothing more than to be an ordained minister of the Lutheran faith. At just sixteen, Steven Reese leaves home with only a change of clothes, his small copy of the New Testament, the family Bible, and his journal to set out on a journey that turns into a lifetime of journeys.It is also the story of Matthew Reese, his great-great-great nephew, an avowed atheist, who finds a box of Steven's journals and is drawn into Steven's story despite his aversion to all things God.And it is first and foremost a story of faith, hard-won, that endures despite the challenges both men face.Steven's Story is the second book co-written by the authors of The Studebaker Wagon.
