Step On...over to the dark side of life. Or is it death? This is a single author collection of some of my paranormal short stories pulled together from other out-of-print anthologies. There are no new stories in this collection, just time-worn, in some cases award-winning, shorts. Ghost, werewolves and vampires inhabit the world I live in. At least, in my creative mind. This collection features one of my favorite stories, Dark Side of the Moon. It features a young man, rent boy turned vampire, who is suffering the effects of a traumatic injury. As a trauma nurse, I believe not all injuries heal instantly, not even for vampires. There are consequences. I like writing about challenges my characters have to deal with. How often do you get a vampire who ultimately discovers he needs a werewolf? I also challenge myself, not just my characters, when I tackled a historical short in Shadows of Time, a ghost story.
