"Rest In Peace" is a trilogy of an erotic, suspense/thriller. Book Three: Starting Over / Volume 3 Sloan is introduced to Society, but all is not what it seems; trouble is brewing in paradise. Ben is told to hire two nannies to help care for the babies when Harriet takes off on a pretense to visit with her friend Marnie. The town continues to empty of residents, as many are put to rest, but not by natural means; the night caller is their executioner. The years stretch ahead and Ben retires as sheriff. He gave up on finding his rainbow. Deputy Davis marries one of Harriet's nannies. Marc, Harriet's son and now an established architect, changes his name to Chase Anthony against his mother's wishes. He decides to make New York his home. He, like so many, desires the American dream. To make big bucks, find Sloan, get marrried, and have a bunch of kids is his concept of a perfect life. Sloan accidently runs into Sunni, and they take up where they left off. Krista doesn't take to Sunni. She has a feeling Sunni is not all she pretends to be. Sloan gets pregnant, and Clay accuses her of having an affair. Chase plans on visiting with his mother. Several things have been troubling him.
