Star in His Eye

Daniel Connors, a Hollywood detective working a part time job as a security officer at Kirk Douglas's party weeknight party, meets Abby McCallum, movie star. What starts out as an innocent twenty minute meeting moves to something more. After her house is broken into, a week later, and Daniel and his partner, Jerry Franks, show up to investigate, the relationship moves to another level; a level that causes Daniel to thing about falling in love with a movie star. And if that's not enough someone is following Abby. Other cases intercede into Daniel's life, as he tries to keep his partner from going broke betting on the horses and his friendship with Abby moving forward.
