Star Bus

Samuel Howington is selected as the test pilot for a highly unpredictable new prototype deep space craft not because of his exceptional skill, but rather because he is considered unremarkable and therefore expendable by his superiors.  When things inevitably go awry with the mission , he finds himself flung to the far reaches of the galaxy, with no way back home. Sam takes a job with the Trans-Galactic bus line with the intention of earning his ticket back to Earth. But can Sam survive the encounters with warlike aliens, cosmic entities, and worst of all, bitchy passengers long enough to find his way home?
