Middle Grade, Espionage Thriller.
When thirteen year old twins, James and Elizabeth Ward, go on a summer vacation to Italy with their parents, it quickly turns into a job to help the CIA, ...a job to save their own lives.

While the CIA told the Wards they would simply have dinner with a person of interest in Venice; a CIA double agent told the Italian mobster, Silvano Rosito, that the Wards' mission was to kill him. He heads an international purse counterfeiting ring, which ultimately funds terrorist groups.

Silvano's goons kidnap the Wards. James started the vacation as a boy, but transitions into a man as he escapes and saves his family.

From jail, Silvano sends one assassin team after another across Italy to kill the Wards.

The Wards, unable to escape the reach of the Italian Mob, decide to fully join the CIA.

CIA officer Frank Brenan is assigned to protect the Wards. He suspects that the counterfeit ring has a rogue CIA officer in its ranks.
