Splitting Heirs

Having to scrape the bottom of his checking account each month to pay his mortgage makes Adam McCleet game for almost anything. So when he discovers that Garden Porcelli, the eccentric Salmon King of Oregon, has made him a beneficiary in his will, Adam is ecstatic--but there's one catch. In Porcelli's video-taped last-will-and-testament, he claims that one of his heirs is a killer, and he wants Adam to find the culprit. The problem is Porcelli doesn't name the victim or even tell Adam when or where the crime took place. Adam has just one month to figure it all out. If he fails, he doesn't get a dime.

Adam's chances seem slim to none when suddenly an exploding golf ball puts one of the heirs six feet under...par in a stroke of evil genius that leaves just six people remaining to share the estate. But with a random shooting in a parking lot, a spectacular belly flop from a helicopter, and a close call on the high seas off the Oregon coast, being a Porcelli heir has become a matter of survival of the fittest.
