Mike Daniels, a private eye in Boston, is asked to recover a stolen Shogun-era collection from a private museum. Mike’s problems begin after he finds it. That is when he meets Yuri Yanakasowa, the original owner of swords he was holding. Yuri wants Mike to travel back to the 1600s to solve a personal problem. Mike just wants to survive a gang of murders, a team of hired assassins, and the Japanese Mafiaâ€"all who want to see Mike dead. Mike and Yuri make a very reluctant team as they travel back and forth trying to solve Yuri’s family shame and keeping the killers from harming Mike and his friends.
