In the previous book Ripple Effect a timid librarian learned what it was like to love another woman and gain a confidence to stand in adversity. In this second of three parts, Deepitka Allaro has been placed in a new position; Empress of The Realm. With it comes new complications; now two beautiful women love and adore her, a world who believes she is a gift from the Goddess, and a Realm who believes her compassion and determination are an inspiration against The Realm's sworn enemy; The Entity.

But to keep her promise to help an ailing sister of the previous Empress, Deepitka must learn what it's like to live as a submissive, learn a greater determination to stand up against those around her, while trying to maintain control of a life she feels is spinning out of control.
