Moving to Florida turned out to be more of a blessing than a curse now that Whitney's back in the night human world. She found her other half, and he loves her as much as she does him. Whitney was amazed she finally had a boyfriend, and was prepared for a new life with him in the siren night human world. And the fact he was a lead singer in a rock band in his free time wasn't bad, either. How much more perfect could it get? Well, a lot more if he were allowed to go back to land with her. But since he's being punished, now she's punished, too. Surviving the punishment is bad enough, but when a new family moves to town who turn out to be night human hunters, Whitney finds herself in constant danger once again. There's a new threat in town, a scarier one than the backstabbing siren clan she's part of now. When is she going to catch a break? Not while there are two new teenagers in school that specialize in killing night humans and Whitney is an outlawed breed. Could her luck get any better? Quiet and peaceful would be ideal, but that's not what she's about to get.
