About This Book

For a year after her marriage ended, Lorileigh went from job to job, unable to find enthusiasm for anything. Then one day her grandmother told her just what she needed to hear - it was time to stop pitying herself and start doing something. That was the day Lorileigh came up with the idea that she and her grandmother would become partners. What she proposed was that they would open an antique shop. Not just any antique shop, her grandmother could spin a tale better than anyone she knew. Her grandmother often made up stories about objects, making up a history that was probably far more interested than the actual one. While filling their new shop with goods, they were offered the opportunity to clean out a home filled with lovely antiques. Seeing the items she was shocked that anyone would want to get ride of them. Mr. Hayden's loss was going to be her gain. In the process of doing the clean out she found a chest that held several journals dating back as far as World War One. She soon became intrenched in a real story that crossed decades and revealed to her why the owner of the beautiful antiques was so interested in selling them.
