Someone Like You

In the fall of 1947, Bridget Clancy's cozy life in Halifax is turned upside down when a shocking betrayal forces her to flee to Ontario. There she lands on the doorstep of war veteran Adam Walker, who hires her to care for his infant son. Recovering from a failed marriage and haunted by battlefield memories, Adam is slowly readjusting to civilian life. Through the harsh winter Adam and Bridget grow close—but even as she comes to feel at home in the Walker household, Bridget fears that Adam's love and the family she longs for might just be an illusion.
