Snatching the Six

‘Snatching the Six’ is a fast-moving, action-filled adventure in the classic Cyberpunk style. This is a world dominated by multi-national megacorporations far more powerful than the governments of the fragmented world. It is a place in which cities are divided between swish penthouse apartments packed with technology and burnt out derelict buildings home to street gangs. People have cameras in their eyes and cybernetic guns implanted in their arms. Hackers download their consciousnesses into online systems to allow them to battle companies and rivals living and dying electronically. Into this context, veteran of numerous corporate wars, Neil Cox. returns after six years on a bleak penitentiary island following a set-up. Looking for work his snatch team is reassembled and battle to secure defectors from one zaibatsu to another. Of course, on the city’s mean streets nothing goes as planned and Cox and his team find themselves fighting cybered up assassins and brutal gangs haunting shells of buildings and the jungles of the vast greenhouses created to try to feed the population. Can Cox and his comrades survive to win the pay-day they need so badly and to exact some small crumbs of revenge in the cyberdog-eat-dog corporate world?
