Snakes and Lovers

Can a snake give two stubborn people a second chance at love? Thirty-eight-year-old Daisy likes her Florida beach bum life, serving drinks at a beachside bar. After two marriage meltdowns, she's had it with responsibility and ungrateful men. But what will she do when her best friend disappears and leaves her with a small boy and a five-foot python, just when Daisy desperately needs to go home and convince her squabbling parents, the one steady thing in her life, to reunite? And what if the only one who can help her is Luke, the guy who broke her heart in high school? When she has to travel with Luke to New Orleans to find her friend (and, perhaps, her errant father) in her old VW bus, Daisy learns some important lessons about love, forgiveness...and listening to her mother.
