In this tongue-in-cheek thriller, Crabtree makes us look at our obsession with money, sex, violence and drugs. Set in turn of the century Miami Vice days, our characters deal with a changed America looking for stability in a world blown apart. The former pot smugglers are now pirates looking at forty, and their occupation has gone away. And the women characters drive the narrative, classy and tough, loving and loveable, determined not to be pushed around in a man's world.
