The comprehensive story of Ahmad... The country was going through turmoil in the 20th century. There had been the explosions of World War I and World War II. There were the Korean and Vietnam wars along with the Cuban missile crisis and the deaths of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. There were Malcolm X and the Moslem emergence. There was the struggle of the poor for strength after the Great Depression. There was also the situation of racism within a country that sent the soldiers to fight for the freedoms of other nations. This is another story of the plight of a man amongst men and women. It is the struggle within and the struggle of life as seen from his eyes. Ahmad is no different from any other child, yet his struggle will affect the lives of others in the midst of their own struggles. This is the story of awakening the beast of reality through his eyes as he lives a single life in a couples-life world.
