Smokin'

Amber Clarkson is not looking for a protector, but when volunteer firefighter and children's book author, Jeremy Scott, diffuses a tense situation with a frazzled customer, and then carries her to safety when her restaurant catches on fire, she can do nothing but be thankful for his help. What she doesn't expect, is his smokin' hot kisses to burn through the barricades surrounding her heart. But a relationship is not in the cards. He's much too observant and she can't have him discovering her secret. Jeremy is not a hero. He is simply a small-town guy, who finds himself in the right place at the right time.
