Smile from the Soul

Raised by her alcoholic drug abusing mother and her tough but loving grandmother, Kaui ‘s life was starting to look like everyone else's. Get older, get pregnant, get on welfare, and repeat the same until death. When Kaui's mother is killed, Kaui sees where her life is going and she decides she wants something different. Her grandmother and best friends Mel and George stand by her no matter what. Her grandmother sacrifices more for Kaui than she realizes. Mel always speaks her mind without holding back and George has been in love with Kaui since they were kids. After the death of her grandmother, Kaui flounders. Her friends struggle to help her see that there is life after death and sometimes its the best life ever. It can be a life that makes you smile from the soul.
