Sluagh: Demon of the Night

As old as mankind, the battle between angels and demons to influence human behavior comes to the fore in the life of Max Furman. Physically and spiritually brutalized in childhood by his mother, Max is driven down a twisted path of victimizing young boys in a deranged attempt to steal their mothers' love. Along the way, he cons, deceives, manipulates and becomes the personification of Sluagh, stealer of souls. Masquerading as a Baptist minister, Max barely eludes detection by law enforcement as he recklessly descends more deeply into the murderous underworld of his own making. All that stands in his way is a coterie of God's faithful both angelic and human with whom Max and his demons battle fiercely to a climax that shakes both realms to their core.
