Skyquakers

A bizarre and otherworldly storm bears down on the outback down of Wyndham, a storm unlike anything Mankind has witnessed before. Shaun, a local schoolboy, irrationally hides himself in a refrigerator, only to emerge an hour later to find every living creature, human or otherwise, has vanished into the sky. While Shaun bunkers down in what shelter he can find, surviving off the resources of an abandoned town, he quickly notices the foreboding changes taking place around him: strange creatures are emerging in place of the animals which were lost, and in place of the missing people come these new, taller, nameless beings that he dubs Skyquakers.
