The island was uninhabited except for the skeleton.

This bony relic could probably have told a very interesting story if it had been able to speak.

But it could not, and the four young people who had stumbled upon it were presented with a puzzle which was not easily solved.

But it was what lay beneath the skeleton that was most intriguing.

And could they legally claim it for themselves just because they found it?
