Fourth-grader Mickey McGhee and his best friend, Zack Zeno, eat, sleep, and breathe basketball. When the city announces a basketball league for their age group, they are thrilled.

But Sam Sherman and his friends plan to try out as well; no doubt they will be using height and fast new moves to score important spots on the team. What chances do these two friends have against taller fellow athletes who trained at a pro basketball camp? A lot!
