It wasn't going to be easy for Skye Fargo to get prized Arabian horses across the Rio Grande, with Apache thieves and mountain rebels all over the place. Then there was the matter of the breeder's luscious daughter Isabel , who wanted to keep Fargo and the horses in Mexico—and promised to make it worth his while. But Fargo was determined to do the job if only he could steer clear of the hotbed of murder and violence that raged between the landed rich and the rebel poor.
