About This Book

Gold, guns and ghosts join together to bring a different view of the American Civil War's aftermath than the one forgotten about over the years. They all lead to an island in the middle of the Savannah River that housed an armory and ammunition factory for the Confederate Army. Too late in the war itself to help in the mismatch between the two sides, it became the dumping ground for the Confederacy's gold supply. Sisters' Island was named after four young girls who died keeping the hiding place of the gold a secret from the invading Union soldiers. When the spirits of the four found a person to reveal the resting place of the gold itself, a century and a half had passed. This is the story of the spirit of the heroine of our story and the new body that she was born into.
