Peyton Dawson celebrates the end of tenth grade knowing he's gay. What he doesn't know is that his great-grandmother and great-aunt are the cornerstones of the small Southern town he'll soon be exiled to for the summer.When Peyton's sent to the Greats to ‘get over' being gay, he embarks on an adventure of Confederate treasure, a restored Underground Railroad Station, and a MAGA civil rights clash reminiscent of the 1960s.Peyton finds his future in the past and a boyfriend to make the summer one to remember and perhaps not leave behind.
