Sirens Tale

John Stanton, a former space marine, came to the Alpha Centauri system to seek a new life. What he found was Selize, a beautiful, telepathic Centaurian and a place among the crew of the Helios Ark free merchant vessel. Having survived his first deep space mission, John embraces his new life. But it comes at a price – a dangerous new enemy who will stop at nothing to see them imprisoned or killed.



‘Sirens Tale' picks up where ‘Sirens Call' part of ‘A Mind Supreme (SF Short Stories)' ended and follows John Stanton's continuing adventures in the Alpha Centauri system. This short story explores John's evolving relationship with Selize and his desperate race against time to save the captain of the Helios Ark from Lars Marvik.
