Sinkholes, Caves and Caverns

Isabel and Maxcine find it necessary to postpone planting a vegetable garden because of a sinkhole forming in their backyard. However when the sisters climb down into the hole, they find caves and caverns. This is not only exciting to them; their relatives are thrilled with the chance to go exploring. As are a few neighbors.

After a day or so what should have been obvious all along cannot be denied. The entire subdivision may be on borrowed time. Caves and caverns begin forming with willy-nilly abandon, and no amount of fill can stop new sinkholes from forming. It is about then that the Mayor gets the brainstorm to create the finest tourist attraction in Arizona.
