Silent Runner

SHE WAS BANISHED FROM HER PEOPLE This is the story of Silent Runer, a young Indian girl who during a time before time as we know it struggles to overcome the inability to make sounds. She and her mother are considered outcasts because of things they have no control over. Together they must overcome her disability as well as the false beliefs of the Clan that she was born into fourteen summers ago. When the people who banished Silent Runner and her mother find themselves enslaved by the Yellow Hairs, it is Silent Runner who looks deep within herself and draws on her compassion for the people who she has always wanted to be her people. Little does she know that, one day, because of her courage and convictions, the mighty Che-O-Wa Nation will be born.
