Silent as the Grave

When Sybil St. Laurent, a young widow, rents Primrose Cottage from the handsome Viscount Charles Smithson, she discovers that all is not as it seems in the idyllic little village of Amberton. She herself becomes the subject of gossip when vicious tongues whisper that Lord Smithson's interest in her might be less than honorable and it soon becomes clear that the village is harboring a murderer.
